But I could never find bracelets that paired them the way I wanted. So I started making my own.

I‘d buy a few, take them apart, and put them back together. The purple from this one, the pink from that one. The green from here, the gold from there.

It was slow. But every bracelet I made, I couldn’t bear to take off.

Then friends started asking: “Can you make one for me?” Then friends of friends. Then people I‘d never met.

Until one day, someone said: “It feels like mine.”
